Happy Thanksgiving, you. I'm about to get started on the corn pudding, but first, like last year and the year before, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for a few beautiful things....
- The smell of chai tea simmering on the stove.
- The freedom and comfort of working from home.
- The blissful state a Reiki healing can bring.
- The magic that happens when painting wet on wet.
- The loud and unapologetic laugh of my husband in movie theaters.
- The warmth and crackle of our fireplace during the holidays.
- The fearlessness of wearing wellies in the rain.
- The funny conversations I have with my 2.5-yr old niece.
- The endless list of travel plans with my book club sisters.
- The ingredients that make up my famous (to me) Shannon-medley casserole.
- The songs that inspire me to write my own.
- The unconditional love I receive from my parents.
- The surprising synchronicities that give me direction.
- The encouraging dreams that push me forward.
- The sweet baby I'll one day hold in my arms.
And if I do not tell you enough. This space would be nothing without you, my kind readers who I am honored to call my friends. Thank you. For your visits, your comments and your love. xo
