My question for you...
What was the very first album you ever owned?
My answer... This will completely date me. As a child of the 80's, the first cassette tape I begged my mom for was Madonna's True Blue. Followed soon after by Tiffany's self-titled debut and Debbie Gibson's Electric Youth (I also owned the perfume). Wow, right? My first CD was one I WON at a middle school dance. For what, I'm not quite sure, but it probably had something to do with the dorky dance routines my friends and I made up. That album was MC Hammer's 2 Legit 2 Quit. And the first CD I purchased with my hard earned allowance was Pearl Jam's Ten (through BMG Music Service's 12 for the price of 1). Sigh, don't you miss the days of buying full albums and listening to them over and over and over again?
