In late September, Hal and I will be flying down to Los Angeles for my college a cappella group's reunion and we want to drive his LA car back up to Seattle. We could do the trip in 20 hours. OR, take a leisurely scenic ride up the coast over the course of a week. Guess which option we chose? There's really no question.
We're turning it into a 1-year anniversary road trip! I just started mapping it out with Roadtrippers, my new favorite website/app. Have you used it before? It magically finds your route, locates accommodations, restaurants and attractions, gives turn by turn directions, and tells you how many miles and hours between each destination, even estimating the cost of gas. I've discovered so many beaches, hikes, historic landmarks, and quirky offbeat must-see stops.
But I'd also like to hear your suggestions. Have any of you done the LA to Seattle coastal road trip before? Let me know if there are any places we should visit along the way!
