Spring is here and I've been dying to hop on a bike. But the one thing that has stopped me from getting a bicycle in Seattle, is the hills. Those damn hills. I love to bike, but not when I arrive to my destination in a sweaty mess.
Until bike lanes of the future are implemented, enter the electric bike! My dream come true. The Faraday Porteur has a pedal-assist system, a re-chargeable battery hidden within the bike’s frame, and a secret "boost mode" for an extra surge of power to help you up the hills. I'm loving the schnazzy minty retro design. Only downside, the price tag is pretty steep. I guess I'll be saving my pennies.
