I'm still basking in the glow of Seattle's weather over the weekend. My friends' beautiful wedding ceremony was held outside facing west overlooking the water, and it really couldn't have been a more perfect day. I'm so happy for them.
On Sunday, it reached the 70's, so Hal and I took a break from making our wedding invitations ventured outside for an impromptu picnic in the park. We hiked through our secret trail and across the Ballard Locks and plopped down on the sloping lawn to nibble and watch the boats go by. Today, I feel completely refreshed and energized. I wish I could picnic every day.
