Beyonce is right. I don't think you're ready for this jelly! When you touch these vegan-gelatinous mounds, they make music. Or rather, strange sounds.
I'm not sure I understand the science, but somehow, French designers, Raphaël Pluvinage and Marianne Cauvard, discovered that a mixture of water and agar-agar powder will sing when placed on a board made from wood on top of metal. The audio signals depend upon on jelly shape variations, salt concentrations, and strength of finger contact.
