Me: Hal, do you want to celebrate Valentine's Day over the weekend?
Him: Yeah, I was going to make lasagna for you.
Me: Oh really? Heart-shaped? (jokingly).
Him: How did you know? I already bought heart-shaped tins!
So on Saturday night, with an Etta James serenade, we built a fire, opened a bottle of red, lit some candles, and feasted upon homemade veggie lasagna. The hearts were cooked to absolute perfection and bursting with cheesy goodness... as was my own. ♥
