I'm enamoured with these images of a Rusalka, the tragic mermaid-like water spirit from Slavic folklore.
Ever since Ariel became a part of my world, mermaids have played a recurring role. In college, my a cappella group was called, Sirens, after Greek mythology. I then named my band, Lorelei, the German equivalent. Is it possible to have been a mermaid in a past life? :)
