I finally downloaded my Snowbird photos and have fallen in love with the quaint mountain town all over again. After our hellish wedding climb the day before, we treated ourselves to some luxury here. A spa day was definitely in order.
What initially struck me as we arrived was the architecture. We were in an awesome 70's time capsule. The striking mid-century lodges were built out of concrete, wood and glass. They even had green rooftops. From the outside, I almost couldn't tell whether they were modern or retro. I guess that's the sign of a good architect!
Some of these shots are from the Aerial tram that whisked us along a 1.6 mile cable to the top of Hidden Peak. (What it looks like in the winter). Aren't the views incredible?
P.S. Later this week... a video of me going down the Alpine Slide!
