Ah, I really miss the beach. I'm sure I've mentioned before that the Venice / Santa Monica beach used to be my backyard. Any free chance I got, I'd take my iPod out for a barefoot stroll along the shore. Or I'd grab a book and plop down in the sand for a little literary escape and warm doze in the sun.
It's funny how you take things for granted when they're so accessible. Are there things that you miss that you once had at your fingertips?
