Cecilia Hammarborg Outerwear

Now that I actually need to put a coat on before venturing out into the world, I'm craving one of these from Cecilia Hammarborg's Black River Falls collection. The Swedish-born designer was Inspired by the fairy-tales of the Brothers Grimm. How cute is the Little Blue Riding Hood coat?? The collection will be launching at London Fashion Week, but you can get them before anyone else from Cecilia's online shop.

Map Cuts

I am in awe of Karen O'Leary's artwork, Map Cuts. She took a knife to New York and Paris maps to create these gorgeous pieces. They remind me of intricate spider webs.

Kulinara Dinnerware

Loving this retro Kulinara Dinnerware designed by Hanna Werning. She drew her inspiration from 50's patterns and vegetables from the traditional Swedish garden. It's a gentle urge to put more veggies on our plate  :)  You can get them at the Scandinavian Design Center.

Jenn Ski's Home

I really love this house in New Hampshire, owned by artist, Jenn Ski. The slanted roof, the gorgeous floor to ceiling windows, the mid-century decor...and that fireplace! She's also working on an incredible cement circle walkway that leads up to her front door. I can't wait until I'm a house owner!

Bob Ross & Happy Little Tree

Our Halloween costumes revealed! My boyfriend, Hal, went as Bob Ross and he painted me into a Happy Little Tree.

I made my headdress out of a twig wreath from Joann Fabrics and shoved (er...artfully arranged) a bunch of faux autumn leaves all up in there. It turned out better than I thought it would. Then I attached extra leaves to brown wire and wrapped them around my wrists. What do you think?  :)
